A Good Term to Know (Thanks to Mr. W.)
The
Hanseatic League was a powerful economic union in Northern Europe around the
15th that wasn't an entity so much as a brotherhood of cities and towns. Its
fall around the 16th century was attributed to rising national power, and
thereby allegiances that previously had fallen with the Hanseatic league turned
to people's respective countries.

Easter Vacation Activity
Team Euro,
I hope you are enjoying your Easter vacation! The weather is warm and the days are longer which seem to beg for time outside. I hope you are taking advantage of this opportunity.
All the same, we know the AP Euro exam is just around the corner. There is not much new information to learn but there is much to review. Let me address each in turn.

Cold War Unit
- Our pre-Cold War debate exemplified how divided the USA and the USSR were by 1945.
- We will spend Tuesday of our return from Easter vacation addressing any questions on this unit. Refer to the earlier post for the testing schedule.
- Here are lectures on the unit to aid you in your study:
Review
- I have placed two documents in the review folder on Drive. Use these, your review book, and the resources found on this blog to the left as you review for the AP exam.
- As an incentive, I will give ten extra points in the essay category of your grade for anyone who can prove their knowledge of events we studied in the first semester (up through the French Revolution). To prove your competency I will give a brief test. If you have further questions, feel free to ask.
